Un-publish and re-publish the video. Go into "My Media" in Canvas. Click on the video you want to un-publish / re-publish. In the table that opens, click the pencil icon to the right of the student you want to give more attempts to. A: Canvas course sites are not accessible to students until the site is made available or "published," so it is normal to not see all courses listed in Canvas before the course starts. Not all on-campus instructors are using Canvas, and they might use different functions, such as the gradebook, or online assignments. If your course is not published, students will not receive a notification of an announcement or any other messages from Canvas. Students who have not accepted their course invitations will not receive any notifications from Canvas. When looking in Courses > All Courses there will be a column that says if the course is published or not. Locate the course and look to the column to the far right.

The Canvas course site is not yet published by the instructor. A course site isn't visible to students until the instructor manually publishes the Canvas site. If the semester/term has already started and you are definitely registered for the course, contact your instructor and ask them to publish the course.
